PS: SQUIDs (Superconducting Quantum Interference Devices) are used in MagnetoEncephaloGraphy (MEG) to measure the tiny magnetic fields generated by the brain's electrical activity, providing an alternative to ElectroEncephaloGraphy (EEG) which measures electrical activity on the surface.
